Guys and Dolls fundraiser for breast and prostate cancer research held at Banksia Grove Village on Saturday 12th October proved to be spectacular, with over 70 residents and guests enjoying a fun filled night with live music and a delicious buffet dinner.
During the evening raffles were held and amazingly decorated fun hats were up for auction to be worn on the Melbourne Cup hat parades at Banksia. Special mention goes to Kay who organised this event and Rebecca and Sarah who decorated both the hall and created the hats and also the many sponsors and volunteers who contributed their time and culinary skills towards making this event such a success. Also thank you to Sharon and Simon Curwood Jewellers for the wonderful raffle prize donation of the beautiful watch.
The event is held in memory of Kay’s dear friend Katrina Moane.
The amazing amount of $2,500 was raised on the night. Awesome—well done everyone !!!
